Some people wouldn’t want to live next to a graveyard but I actually love having it next to the house. For one – it’s peaceful, two – there are lots of lovely birds and animals that live there and the swallows always do circuits over it at night (and yes I am counting the crows as lovely because I actually do like them too) and three – the light through the trees is always picturesque no matter what colour it is. Tonight it was especially lovely and beautifully golden, lighting up the swallows like they were made of pure gold themselves as they flew twinkling through the air.
