Project 365 – Day 175 – 24th June 2013

Glen and I made some cloud dough today from a post I found through Pinterest (surprise surprise, I love Pinterest). It has such a nice tactile quality to it and can be molded into shapes using either your hands or anything you can find lying around, we found that ice cream scoops are great as it can be pushed out of the scoop without being broken. If you want to make your own all you need is:

  • 1 cup of baby oil (smells good and makes you hands soft as an added bonus so make sure you get stuck in as well as the kids).
  • 8 cups of flour.
  • Glitter, cake sprinkles and beads optional but feel free to chuck whatever you like in it to add to the sensory experience (and make it pretty) just don’t let the kids eat it.

Just mix it all together until it looks a little like sand, quick and simple!

The kids absolutely loved it and it kept them busy for a good couple of hours.
