I’ve been trying to do at least one self portrait every month. As a photographer I’m always behind the camera and not in front of it so doing self portraits means three things;
1. There will be a couple of photos of me in the family album.
2. I get to see what it’s like in front of the camera.
3. I’m learning how to use the camera without being able to see the controls and having to think where the focal point will be.
For today’s self portrait I got Ava to join me in our little back garden (perfect open shade location) and gave her control over the remote shutter release button, we did end up with a lot of shots of the wall we but had fun at the same time.
