Giant pom poms, vintage china and antique lace at Debi and Mike’s wedding

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to second shoot on Debi and Mike’s gorgeous wedding in Walkerburn with James Pearson for Pearson Photography.

It was such a beautiful day in Mike’s parent’s garden. The garden and marquee were decorated with giant colourful pom poms and hand-made signs and there were vintage touches like the bride’s dress and the groom’s mother’s gorgeous collection of antique china and cutlery.  Even the flower girl’s dresses had a distinctly vintage feel to them with sparkles and gold lace.

Pre-wedding the girls, including Mike & Debi’s gorgeous baby daughter, and Debi’s parents readied themselves at the stunning Peebles Hydro Hotel, where they also had a special birthday party for one of the flower girls who was celebrating her 5th birthday and Debi and Mike gave all of the girls vintage gifts of perfume bottles and jewellery as a memento of their day.

You can see James’ beautiful images from the day on the Pearson Photography blog here.

  1. Great work Heather, really fantastic photos! It’s great to see your view of the day. It was great having you along too.
